Local financial records
The authoritative database, ledger and encrypted originals live on the iPhone. Position does not host a financial database or ask for bank credentials.

External AI
Selected content can leave the phone after disclosure. The managed gateway does not retain request content after processing; provider abuse-monitoring terms may apply. BYOK sends directly to OpenAI.

Retention, backup and deletion
Originals use an on-device retention setting. Position participates in iPhone backup and supports a password-protected archive. Disconnect, managed-account deletion and local deletion are separate.
