Completion blockers
Find the field that prevents completion.
Existing records remain unchanged when an editor cannot save. Inline Required messages identify what needs attention.
Current app path
Open the affected editor; for documents use Inbox → Add documentsAccount, transaction and manual asset validation is externally available. New shared-photo asset intake is local-only.Required
- Every field marked Required
- Valid transaction amount, date, currency and direction
- Asset type, ownership and treatment
Optional
- Notes, descriptions and supporting evidence unless marked Required
What can block completion
- Blank or invalid required values
- A split that does not equal the source amount
- Missing Photos or camera permission
- A file unavailable to the picker
- Local financial data
- A blocked save does not replace the record. An attachment is not committed until the workflow completes.
- Privacy or AI boundary
- Local editors stay local. An unfamiliar import or AI suggestion has its own disclosed boundary.
- If it does not work
- Cancel to preserve the original, correct each Required message and try again. Check iOS permissions and reselect an attachment.
01
Account or transaction
- Read every inline Required message.
- For an account, provide a valid account type.
- For a transaction, verify amount, date, currency, direction, category/type and split total.
- Choose Save transaction or the editor save control again.
02
Asset
- Confirm asset type, ownership status and Position treatment.
- Add the required valuation date when a value is present.
- Correct the highlighted relationship and save.
03
Photo or document
- Confirm Photos or camera permission in iOS Settings.
- Return to Inbox → Add documents and choose the source again.
- For Files, confirm the provider still exposes the document.
- If it continues, prepare a diagnostic preview; do not attach the financial file to support email.
